Introduction

Hello reader! welcome to the One Piece D. Scholar blog on anything and everything One Piece related. This blog primarily is meant for me to improve on my writing, reporting and fact-gathering through a means I’m very engaged in about, which is Eiichiro Oda’s world of One Piece.

For those who do not know, One Piece is a weekly released Japanese comic style of cartoon known as Manga. The manga starting in 1997 and still continuing till today is one if not the most popular Mangas’ in the world. I’ve followed the series back in the early years of the show as a kid around the early 2000’s as I did with other anime, Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, Bleach and the like. My interest for anime/manga persisted although never specifically preferring One Piece until an AMV (animated music video) I saw in my senior year of HighSchool. After that, I binged the anime when I was caught up to the most recent episodes I jumped on the manga until I was up to date on that

What is this then?

Stated before this will be to improve on my writing as well as contain copious amounts of theories, character analysis, theme analysis and more on One Piece. There will be Chapter reviews for the manga and Episode reviews as well giving an overview as well as my own feelings and opinions to what will come next or why this is. I will try to avoid making this be another Wikipedia for One Piece information, that being said the One Piece wiki will very much serve as a source for more logistical things. So if you had no knowledge of One Piece and would like to learn more about characters/events in the One Piece check the wiki here. But for those who already know the basics and want a deeper conversation into the One Piece world you’ve come to the right place! So my Nakama let’s board the Sunny and explore the wonderful Oda has given us!
